Paper Heaven

May 19th, 2010

This week, Jill and I had a fabulous time at the National Stationery Show. As most of you know by now, we’re pretty much obsessed with all things paper.  So the NSS was pretty much our version of heaven. Everywhere we looked was another beautiful display of stationery, cardstock, patterned paper, vellum, or ribbon. We wanted to share with you, our loyal readers, some of our favorites from the show.

The DIY of Letterpress:

We heart letterpress. And don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing like the professional version; the double thick paper, the deep impression you can feel as you draw your hands over it, the rich color of the ink. Mmmm. But, this new at-home kit might just be good enough for some quick Holiday cards or a super-simple save-the-date. We’ve ordered one, and we’ll be sure to post some samples on our blog after it arrives!

drink me tags:

These wine and champagne bottle tags are adorable and affordable! Forget searching around for an awkwardly sized gift bag, these are a great way to present a bottle wine to the hostess at your next dinner party. We can see infinite uses at weddings—favors, welcome gifts in for your overnight guests, cute touches to the table wine.  They are completely customizable too!

Meri Meri Party Packs

Ok, so everyone knows about my obsession with ducks for baby showers and nurseries. I have found another new love. Animal Parades. How adorable are these carousel centerpieces for a toddler’s birthday party? And the cupcake kits? How cute would individual cupcakes be as party favors for the kids?

Those are just SOME of our favorite things from the show. The biggest, bestest thing to come of the show we’ll be announcing very soon. Stay tuned!
