“There are two big things that stick out in my mind regarding your help with the wedding.  First, you got me excited about my wedding again.  I was starting to get really stressed out about doing everything myself, especially given everything else that was going on in my life.  When you and Jill stepped in to help, I turned back into a giddy bride.  The inspiration board you showed me at our first meeting helped me to picture everything pulled together.  At that point, I was struggling with thinking of everything cohesively and wondering if everything would “go.”  All I had were bits and pieces I was trying to put together.  You helped me put together those ideas and to do it in such a beautiful way.

Second, I didn’t worry about anything on the wedding day.  I knew you and Jill were there to set everything up and would make sure everything looked beautiful.  And I knew if some disaster, whether minor or major, popped up, you would take care of it.   I knew that if anything was “off,” you would immediately notice it and fix it.   One of my biggest fears for my wedding day was seeing something wrong and freaking out about it.  I knew that with you and Jill, that wasn’t even a possibility.  I was able to be calm and stress-free and really enjoy my wedding.  You allowed me to be fully in every moment that day and there is no greater gift than that on your wedding day.  No stress, just joy!

The above two items aren’t all, of course.  You saved me an incredible amount of time by finding and communicating with the remaining vendors.  Just finding vendors takes time, let alone finding good ones, and then making sure they can do what you want, are available on that day, and are in your price range.  I loved how you tracked some down, would give me the options as well as all the information I needed to make a decision, and then I just picked.  All of the vendors you presented to me not only did amazing work, but they a pleasure to work with.  I especially can’t thank you enough for finding Kerri Anne at Les Fleurs.

You thought of things I didn’t think of, even if they were little things.  Those little things added up to make a big difference.  For example, the flowers on the cocktail tables.  I hadn’t even thought about having flowers at the cocktail hour.  Once we looked into it, we realized the extra cost from the florist was more than we wanted to spend.  But, you came up with the option of getting the flowers and vases yourselves and putting together little arrangements.  They were perfect!  They added just the right amount of pizzazz to the cocktail hour and didn’t end up breaking our budget.

You kept me on task and reminded me of deadlines, which would have come and gone without me even noticing in some cases.  You were wonderful with Andy, my mom, and everyone else who was involved in the wedding.  You didn’t judge my opinions and didn’t try to push me in a direction I didn’t want to go in.  You led me in the direction I wanted to go the whole time, but wasn’t sure how to get there on my own.”
